Please be advised that **Lyttelton Port Company (LPC)** has announced **full operational closures for Thursday, 23 October**, in response to an **extreme weather event** forecast to peak around 13:00, with wind gusts expected to exceed **80 knots (150 km/h)**.

### Lyttelton Container Terminal

- **All port operations suspended** from **07:00 to 18:00**.
- **No vessels or trucks** will be serviced during this period.
- **All VBS bookings (Zones 6–18)** for Thursday, 23 October have been **cancelled**.
- **An additional last free day** will be applied for containers previously due on **23 October**.

### LPC CityDepot & MidlandPort

- **CityDepot** will **close at 06:30** on Thursday, 23 October.
- **MidlandPort** will **not open at 06:00** as scheduled.
- Both facilities are expected to **reopen from 18:00**, subject to weather conditions.

### Safety & Monitoring

These precautionary measures have been implemented to ensure the **safety of personnel, customers, and assets**.  
Conditions are being closely monitored, and any **changes or extended closures** will be communicated as soon as updates are available.
