MEL - Weather Alert – High Winds Impacting Operations - October 22 2025

Further to our earlier correspondence regarding high winds and intermittent empty park closures, please see below the updated list of affected depots. We will provide confirmation once normal operations resume.

Operational Impact

• Container parks continue to close intermittently due to safety restrictions, resulting in extensive delays to container collection and dehire.

• While KLN will make every effort to dehire empty containers within the free period, some units may need to be temporarily staged at our yard (additional charges may apply).

• Please note that KLN will not be liable for any detention charges incurred as a result of these weather-related closures.

Severe Weather Warning

• Access restrictions and temporary closures are in effect at several facilities for safety reasons.

• Delays to container movements are expected throughout the day as sites close intermittently in response to wind conditions.
