We would like to advise of an update to the fuel surcharge applied to domestic transport within New Zealand.

Due to ongoing volatility in global fuel markets, driven by recent geopolitical developments and rising diesel prices, transport providers across the industry are reviewing their fuel adjustment factors to ensure operating costs remain sustainable.

Updated Fuel Surcharge

  • New Fuel Surcharge Rate: 28.61%
  • Effective From: 14 March 2026

This rate reflects the current surcharge applied by our primary domestic transport provider and will be used as the applicable benchmark for domestic transport movements.

Market Context

Recent instability in global energy markets has led to rapid fluctuations in diesel prices, affecting transport operators across the supply chain. As a result, many carriers and logistics providers are increasing the frequency of fuel-levy reviews to ensure costs remain aligned with current fuel pricing.

Customer Guidance

Customers should expect the fuel surcharge to apply to domestic transport movements within New Zealand, and rates may be reviewed periodically should fuel prices continue to fluctuate.

We remain committed to maintaining transparency and will advise customers should any further adjustments become necessary.
