SYD Sydney – DP World Empty Areas Closed Due to High Winds - August 28

Please be advised that DP World Port Botany (CTLPB) has confirmed all direct return empty pools are closed from 10:00 AM today until further notice, in preparation for worsening high wind conditions.

Key Impacts:

• Direct Empty Returns are suspended and redirections are currently in place.

• Additional depot closures are possible if winds increase further.

• Trucks already en route or at the depot will incur futile charges.

• Timeslot cancellations may occur at short notice, with possible additional charges.

KLN's Position:

• We will do all possible to dehire empty containers within the free period.

• Please note, however, that KLN cannot be held liable for container detention during this weather-related disruption.
