A medical emergency occurred at DP World's West Swanson Terminal in Melbourne on the afternoon of 25 August 2026. As a result, all import and export booking slots between 14:00 on 25/08 and 05:00 on 26/08 were cancelled by the terminal.
The cancellation affected a significant volume of planned deliveries across both import and export bookings. DP World has approved only a one-day storage extension for containers caught in the disruption.
To limit storage charge exposure, our team has rescheduled and reprioritised import collections. A number of containers remain in the yard and our operations team is working through these systematically.
We expect delivery scheduling to progressively normalise as the backlog clears. We'll update this advisory if the situation changes materially.
