Kindly take note of the following upcoming public holidays across Australia where a Public Holiday Surcharge will apply:

Public Holiday Schedule

Victoria (VIC)

• Friday, 25 September 2026 – AFL Grand Final
• Tuesday, 3 November 2026 – Melbourne Cup Day

Western Australia (WA)

• Monday, 28 September 2026 – King's Birthday

New South Wales (NSW)

• Monday, 5 October 2026 – Labour Day

Queensland (QLD)

• Monday, 5 October 2026 – King's Birthday

During these periods, while most terminals are expected to operate under normal receival and delivery programs, there may be reduced capacity, limited staffing, and intermittent disruptions depending on terminal and vessel schedules.

Operational Overview

• Terminals and depots may operate on a reduced or vessel-dependent basis.
• Some facilities will continue working to clear wharf volumes where required.
• Limited staff availability may impact processing times and response times.

Important Considerations

• Empty container returns will be managed where possible; however, detention charges incurred during these periods will not be accepted as liability.
• Shipping lines may count weekends and public holidays as part of free time. We strongly recommend requesting free time extensions in advance where required.

Customer Guidance

• Plan deliveries and collections ahead of the holiday periods wherever possible.
• Allow additional buffer time for transport movements and terminal interactions.
• Review shipment schedules early to minimise potential delays and additional charges.
