NSW - Sydney - DP World Empty Areas Closed Due to High Wind Gusts - March 13, 2026

Please be advised that DP World Port Botany has closed all empty container areas due to high wind gusts, effective 13 March 2026 at 12:25.

Current Operational Status

• All empty areas closed
• Direct Return Empties suspended
• Stack Runs suspended until further notice
• Trucks currently in empty areas have been instructed to leave
• Loading at the depot has been halted until further notice

All direct empty returns are being redirected to alternate off-hire facilities, and transport providers have been instructed to cancel affected jobs.

Expected Impact

Customers may experience:

• Delays in empty container dehires
• Possible timeslot cancellations
• Trucks already en route or at the depot may incur futile charges
