NSW - Sydney – DP World Terminal Closure Due to MUA Stop-Work Meeting December 17 2025

Please be advised of an upcoming operational disruption at DP World Sydney (Port Botany) due to a scheduled Maritime Union of Australia (MUA) stop-work meeting.

Terminal Closure Details – Wednesday, 17 December 2025

• DP World Sydney Terminal Closed: 13:00–15:00

• Last Truck Zone: 11:00

• Terminal Gates Close: 12:00 sharp
  → This is to allow DPW to clear the yard prior to the stop-work period.

• Road operations resume: 15:00

No vessel, road, or landside operations will be available during the closure window.

Operational Impact

Customers should expect:

• Delays to container collections and deliveries

• Possible rescheduling of timeslots around the closure window

• Increased congestion immediately before and after the outage

KLN will continue to manage deliveries as efficiently as possible; however, delays are unavoidable while the terminal is offline.
