Operational Impact

Qantas Freight terminals are expected to remain operational during the affected periods, with contingency arrangements in place. However, customers have been advised to allow additional time for freight processing. Critical and time-sensitive freight will be prioritised where possible.

For KLN Oceania customers using the affected air freight network, the practical risk is longer processing times during the notified windows. The available notices do not confirm specific shipment delays, cancellations or terminal closures, so these should not be presented as confirmed impacts.

Customer Guidance

Customers should:

  • Allow additional processing time for Qantas Freight shipments through Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth during the affected periods.
  • Review urgent or time-critical air freight scheduled around the stoppage windows.
  • Contact your KLN Oceania representative if you have a shipment that may be affected and requires review.

KLN Oceania will continue to monitor developments and provide further information if there is a material change to the notified industrial action or its operational impact. Where time-sensitive shipments may be exposed to the disruption, our teams will review the shipment requirements and available options with customers.
